NICHOLS - Mr. Harvey G. Enzor, Sr., 89, widower of Flora Belle Herring Enzor, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his home after an illness.
Mr. Enzor was born December 8, 1923 in Horry County, a son of the late Troy B. and Fleetwood Brown Enzor. He was a retired farmer and a lifelong member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Enzor was a US Navy veteran, having served in World War II.
Surviving Mr. Enzor are a daughter, Marilyn E. (Ronnie) Lupo of Nichols; two sons, H. Gareld (Ann) Enzor, Jr. of Nichols and Samuel B. (Kathy) Enzor of Fair Bluff, NC; a sister, Reba Britt of Barnesville, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Mr. Enzor was predeceased by a son, Steven F. Enzor.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, May 30, at 2:00 p.m. in the Spring Branch Baptist Church Sanctuary, with Rev. Jonathan Barbee officiating. Burial took place in the Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, and were directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
