Lowell - Josephine Ann (Grady) Barry-Bergeron, 64, died Wednesday, February 4, at her home after a seven-year battle with cancer. She was the wife of James J. Barry, Jr., and the late Paul A. Bergeron.

Born in Lowell on June 10, 1939, a daughter of the late G. Frank and Elizabeth Frances (Burns) Grady, Mrs. Barry-Bergeron was educated locally and graduated from Lowell High School. She was a lifelong resident of Lowell and attended St. Margaret's Church.

Before retiring, Mrs. Barry-Bergeron worked at Analog Devices of Wilmington for more than 10 years. She enjoyed hot-air balloon rides.

Besides her husband, her survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Steve Johnson of Lowell and Susan and Robert Mailloux of Salem, New Hampshire; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul A. Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, and Andrew and Michelle Bergeron, all of Lowell, and James J. Barry, III, of Nashua; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Francis W. and Anne Grady, Charles T. Grady, and George E. and Evelyn Grady, all of Lowell; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
