Laura Edseth was born to Kristoffer and Johanne Edseth. The Edseths immigrated from Norway in 1867. Laura married Severin (sp?) Johnson and together they had five children, Merinda (1904) Stanley (1906) Guy (1907) Ramona (1909) and Ellnore (1917)They lived on the Fairfield Bench. Laura and Severin were divorced and Laura raised her children as a single mother. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and have fun at family gatherings. She lived her last years in a little house in Choteau just to the West of the Catholic Church.
