She was born Aug. 5, 1956, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Donald Dershem and the late Geraldine (Thomas) Dershem. She was married on Oct. 24, 2004, to Michael Bennett Jr., who survives.
Cindy was a 1974 graduate of Milton High School.
She was employed as a waitress at All American Truck Stop, Milton.
Cindy was an avid bingo player and liked to crochet and play mini golf. She enjoyed being sociable and being around people. Cindy loved her dog Harry, and her cat Sammy.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one son, Norman Gundrum Jr., of Coal Township, and one sister, Tina Heimbach, of Watsontown.
Friends and relatives will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N Front St., Milton, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in the Mazeppa Cemetery.
