Beulah Mae Eppens, 90, of Mason City died Tuesday (June 7, 2005) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Jack Vanden Heuvel of the Rolling Acres Christian Reformed Church officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Beulah Mae Eppens was born in Mason City, the daughter of Harrison and Mary Rosella (Sears) Bailey, on Aug. 6, 1914.
She graduated from Mason City High School in 1932.
On July 28, 1932, she married Gerald J. Eppens in Mason City, and they spent most of their long life together in Mason City.
Beulah enjoyed cooking for family and friends and she also enjoyed sewing.
She was a lifelong member of the Free Methodist Church.
Beulah is survived by her sons, Richard and wife, Barbara Eppens, of Mason City
Danny E. Eppens of Garner, and daughter, Glenda Johnson and husband, James, of Britt
12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister, Goldie Boyd, of Mason City
and daughter-in-law, Karen Eppens, of Mason City.
Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald in 1990, son, Gary, in 2000
grandchildren, Doug and Scottie Eppens,
six brothers: Melvin, Gail, Lester, Oswald, Donald, Harold, sisters Laura Harris, Elizabeth Little.
