Squadron, 445th Bomb Group, aboard B-24E
Liberator #41-29071.

Perished when the bomber crashed, four miles
southwest of Moville, Iowa, due to a
structural failure, after departing the
Sioux City Army Air Base.

Also killed in the crash were:

2nd Lt. Jack D Hodges, pilot
2nd Lt. Herbert W Evans, co-pilot
2nd Lt. Henry H Sizemore

Sgt. Peter J Horinka
Sgt. Ralph P Regan
Sgt. Gerald A Webster
Sgt. Alvan E Wenger
