Had Been In Pittsburgh In Morning – Was Going Home After Dinner
While on his way to dinner in the Braeburn hotel, on Wednesday, at about 12:30 p.m., Charles Schiffhauer, aged 46 years, of the Stewart Farm, out the Glad road, suddenly died. Deputy Coroner Hemer was called to the scene and after an examination of the dead man pronounced death as being due to natural causes without medical attention and contributory heart failure. The deceased had been in Pittsburgh during the morning and was about to eat dinner at the hotel before going home when death claimed him. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment in Union cemetery. Surviving are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Leisure, of Woodmont avenue, and the misses Cletta and Elnora at home, and two sons, Carl and Walter, at home.
Charles Schiffhauer, aged 46 years, 2 months and 13 days, died on Wednesday, September 27, 1916 in Lower Burrell Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Schiffhauer, a carpenter, was born July 14, 1870 in Pennsylvania the son of Charles Schiffhauer. Funeral services were in charge of Undertaker A. A. Hemer of New Kensington, burial was made on Saturday, September 30, 1916 in Union Cemetery, in Arnold, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
