Minnie Lucile Griffin, 92, passed away May 22, 2013. She was born in Lake City, Florida.
She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1939. For many years she was employed by Southern Railway and retired from the Florida Baptist Foundation after 20 years of service. She was as active member of Holiday Hill Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Beatrice Bunn, sister Lena Knight and brother Alfred Bunn. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William D. Griffin, daughter Laura Kelley, son Billy Griffin, granddaughter Lisa Nicole Griffin, sister Dorothy Mills and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at Holiday Hill Baptist Church, 730 Mandalay Road with visitation starting at 11AM and service at 12 Noon. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Pastor Albert Byrd officiating.
