Mrs. Martha E. Price of Deerfield, Va., died at the home of her son, Mr. Sam Price on Feb. 2, 1933, a victim of heart failure. Her age was 70 years and about 10 months. Mrs. Price had been in declining health for several years. She had been a member of the Methodist church for a long time. She was a fine Christian woman, and she possessed a lovable disposition, which won for her a great many friends, who were saddened by hearing of her untimely death. She was the daughter of the late John and Esteline Rusmiselle. Surviving are three sons, Jared and Sam of Deerfield, J. Bucher of Morrisville, Va., one daughter, Mrs. D.P. Crummett of Pendleton county, W.Va.; two brothers, George Rusmiselle of Bath county, and Jesse Rusmiselle of Georgia, one sister Mrs. Howard Wooddell of Mt. Solon; 23 grandchildren and about 15 great-grandchildren. The funeral was held from the Doe Hill church, Sunday at 1 o’clock, conducted by her pastor. Rev. Groseclose of Churchville assisted by Rev. L.M. Moffett.
