Mr. Frank Richards

Mr. Frank Richards, 69, of Frederick, died Wednesday, April 30, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.

He was the husband of Betty Richards.

Born Aug. 15, 1933, in Stanley, Va., he was a son of the late William H. and Blanche Richards.

Mr. Richards was a U.S. Army veteran of Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 191, Mount Airy.

He was a sports enthusiast; an avid Redskins and Orioles fan and took those teams' losses personally.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Mary Richards of Walkersville, and Lisa Richards of Frederick; one brother, William Richards and wife Helen of Winchester, Va.; three grandchildren; and four stepdaughters and their families, including 15 stepgrandchildren, and one stepgreat-grandchild.

Services will be private. Inurnment will take place in the Garden Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

Arrangements are by Resthaven Funeral Services, Frederick.
