Martha A. Arvin, 68 of Petersburg, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born in Winslow, IN on January 6, 1942 to George and Nellie (Graves) White. She lived in the Petersburg area most of her life.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the V.F.W. She also enjoyed being outdoors with her children and grandchildren planting flowers, gardens, fishing and just visiting under the shade tree.

She is survived by sons: Bob Miskell, Ron Bota, Mike Reel, Bill Arvin, Darrell Miller and daughters: Diane Reel, Teresa Miller and Angela Beadles. Also surviving are brothers George White and Carson White, sister Flora Sloan, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Ames Dees officiating.

Burial will be at the Decker Cemetery in Patoka.

Friends may visit from noon until 2:00 P.M. at Colvin Funeral Home.
