Glenn Earl HOLLENBACK, 63, Rt. 2, Sharpsville, died at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday at Howard Community Hospital, Kokomo.
He was born in Bunker Hill to Oscar and Grace HOWARD HOLLENBACK. On May 20, 1956 near Macy he married Margaret MATHIAS, who survives. In 1992 he retired ater 27 yeas as a cutter and grinder at Chrysler Corp. He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, stationed on the USS Juneau. He was a member of the Oakford Baptist Church, Bunker Hill VFW and the United Auto Workers.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Ronald, wife Marianne, HOLLENBACK, Kokomo; three step-grandchildren; Rick PENROD, Oakland City; Tim PENROD, Bloomington, and Jennefer SLOAN, Kokomo; two step-great-grandchildren, Jessica and Eric SLOAN, both of Kokomo, and a sister, Marjorie D. STEWART, Tipton. Preceding in death were three sisters and four brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, Kokomo. Burial will be at noon Thursday in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Oakford Baptist Church building fund.
