Wiley Pusey, son of Mrs. Margaret Pusey, living about eleven miles northwest of Fullerton, aged about 22 years, died on the 14th last of quick consumption at Hastings, Nebr. The remains were brought here and interred Wednesday in the Main cemetery, Rev. Griffins of Cedar Rapids officiating. This case was very unfortunate, he being a bright and promising young man until five[?] years ago
he lost his mind[?] by reason of sunstroke and was sent to Norfolk. About two weeks ago he was taken to Hastings and gradually grew worse until death came to his relief. The last few days of his life he was perfectly rational and talked of home and wanted to be brought here. The sympathy of all go out to the bereaved [illegible]. Miss Ophella Pusey, his sister was called from Illinois by telegram where she was visiting and arrived in time to attend the last sad rites.
