Achille J. DeJohn,61, died at St Clare's hospital, after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, Mr. De John was a lifelong resident. For 30 years he worked as a grounds foreman for the City of Schenectady, retiring in 1986. He was a communicant of St. Helen's Church. A Combat veteran of the Korean War, Mr. De John was the recipient of the Bronze Star, the Korean Service Medal, the United States Service Metal, and a District Unit Citation.
