GLEN BURNIE, MD. - Langdon W. "Bob" Barbour died Wednesday, April 26, in a local hospital.

He was a native of Lanexa and member of Glen Burnie Baptist Church where he attended Sunday school.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a scale machinist at Howe-Richardson Scale, Baltimore.

Survivors inclulde Ruth Marshall Barbour; three daughters, Jeanie Barnett of Richmond, Ky., Margie Riley of Lynchburg, and Karen K. Mears of Baltimore; two sisters, Vera Johnson of Newton Grove, N.C., and Talitha Skinner; five brothers, Milton Barbour of Lanexa, Floyd Marshall Barbour of North Carolina, James Barbour of Lynchburg, Tenn., Alton Barbour of Benson, N.C., and Joseph Barbour of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted in Singleton Funeral Home, Glen Burnie, Md. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
