James W. Taylor, age 65, of Springdale, Ark., died May 23, 2013, in Hot Springs, Ark.
He was born Nov. 22, 1947, in Deer, Ark., the son of James and Nola Rich Taylor.

He was owner and operator of NWA Steel Company and was of the Christian faith. He was also a cattle farmer and enjoyed being a family man.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Pratt Taylor, of the home; four sons, David Peoples of Washington, Corey Taylor and his wife, Donna, of Gravette, Ark., Kevin Taylor and his wife, Carrie, of Springdale, Ark., and Wes Taylor and his wife, Hayley, of Fayetteville, Ark.; two daughters, Kelli Nolting and her husband, Scott, of Lamar, Mo., and Cindy Meadors of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Alfred Taylor of Japton, Ark.; three sisters, Mary Ann Vaughn of Springdale, Ark., Donna Perry of Huntsville, Ark., and Priscilla Harvey of Prairie Grove, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Revival Tabernacle Church with Rev. Paul Eden officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Peoples, Corey Taylor, Kevin Taylor, Wes Taylor, Scott Nolting and Alfred Taylor.
