Frances was born Jan. 11, 1911 to Parley Pratt Parrish and Elizabeth Collings Parrish of Centerville, Utah. She was preceded in death by a brother, Weldon Parrish, a sister, Leah Fleming, and a daughter, Ellen. Surviving her are siblings Iris Stout and Colson Parrish. Also surviving are four children, 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grand-children.
Frances married Joel Call Barlow on May 27, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have five children: Carolyn (Kent) Dunford, Bonnie (Spencer G) Lewis, Rulon (Sandee) Barlow, and Jolene (Niels) Thompson. After 64 years of marriage, her husband Joel preceded her in death in 1999.
Frances was dearly loved, not only by her family, but by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2002 at 12:00 noon in the LDS Oak Hills 2nd Ward chapel located at 925 East North Temple Drive in Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Centerville Memorial Park Cemetery. Services under the direction of Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home.
