Billy Winters was the son of the late Dorothy M. Knott Winters, and William Edward Winters, Sr. He was survived by his wife Claudia Marie Winters, whom he married on August 4, 1968 in Port Chester, NY, three children, two siblings, and 5 grandchildren.
Billy was a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County. He graduated from St. Michael's High school in 1965, and was the co-owner of Winters Sheet Metal in Leonardtown, MD for 47 years. Billy retired January 1, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Holy Face Catholic Church with Father Joseph Calis officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Greg Snyder, Ken Ward, Doug Thron, Douglas Thron, Daniel Thron, and Felix Renaldo.
