From his obituary - Died Waco. Born in Denton County and came to Waco 30 years ago. He was employed as a railroad mail clerk from 1909 until his retirement in 1943. He was a member of IOOF Lodge # 137 in Waco and Lodge # 11 in San Antonio. Survivors: Wife, Nettie Massey; son Jeff W. Massey, Jr. of Snyder; brothers, Jim and George Massey; sister Mrs. L.E. Frederick; one granddaughter. (per #47179832).
