Mickey Lowell was a blessing to everyone she met. First of all she loved her Lord, was a loving daughter, special sister, a friend to many, a devoted wife to my father for 43 years, and loving mother and Christian example to my brother, Dan, and I. She loved her grandchildren and always had fresh baked oatmeal cookies or sugar cookies for them. Mother prayed daily for her immediate family, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and those in need. She enjoyed her trips to Tennessee to visit her family. Some of her hobbies were crocheting, working in her flowers and garden. She made pretty dresses for me when I was a child. Mom was raised on a farm and learned to can fruits and vegetables and prepared food for the freezer. Her church membership was with the Assemblies of God Churches in Tennessee and Florida. She was dedicated to God, and consistently read her Bible and prayed. Mother faithfully attended church, taught Sunday School classes, worked with Women's Ministries and supported missionaries around the world. Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her."
