ROINA BISCHEL BARR, 83

Gainesville - Roina Bischel Barr, 83, died on February 28, 2013. She was born in Tampa, Florida on February 12, 1930 to Hugo and Else Bischel.

Roina was a wonderful wife and mother. Roina and her husband, Bud would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on May 30, 2013. Her passions in life were her family and friends. She loved hunting, fishing and cooking. She was the ultimate hostess at many gatherings of family and friends over the years.

Roina was a court reporter in Hillsborough County, Florida in the 1950's, then went on to become the first female deputy constable in Hillsborough County under former Constable/Sheriff Malcom Beard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harry E. (Bud) Barr, a son: Matt (Michele) Barr, a daughter: Kim (Rick) Davis; grandchildren: Aric (Amber) Davis, Kiefer Davis, Garrett Barr and Reagan Barr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Else Bischel and a brother, Edward Bischel.

Roina had a zest for life and left this world as she lived it, with a beautiful smile. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends.

As per Roina's request, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
