Johnnie C. Renfro, 89 of Kingsland, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013. He was born in Belton, Texas on September 23, 1923.
Johnnie was a Veteran of the United States Army. He married Roberta Behrens in Coppers Cove, Texas on December 3, 1949. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 7 brothers. Johnnie enjoyed bowling, raising honey bees, gardening, fishing, reading and helping others.
Survivors include his son, Rick Renfro of Kingsland, Texas; sister, Oma Renfro of Dallas, Texas and 1 grandson, Bailey Audino of Austin, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Friday March 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lakeland Hills Memorial Park with Reverend Richard Vandventer officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Highland Lakes Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Buckner's, 3835 FM 2342, Burnet, Texas 78611.
