Beatrice A. Corklin, 89, of Cambridge Springs, RD 3, died at Springs Manor Care Center in Cambridge Springs, Monday, Feb 1, 1993. She was born in Atlantic, Crawford County, on Dec 6, 1903, the daughter of the late George and Alphoretta Culver Holland. She married Dewey K. Corklin Feb 2, 1919. He died Dec 17, 1981. Mrs. Corklin was a homemaker and a member of Acacia Chapter No. 30, Eastern Star, of Titusville. She is survived by one son, John Corklin of Titusville, RD 3; a daughter, Marjorie Barber of Cambridge Springs; a sister, Georgia Weed of Union City; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 29 great, great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernice Walton; and a son, Dewey Corklin. Five brothers and six sisters also died previously. Friends may call at the Van Matre Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. and may attend the funeral there at 11 a. m. Friday with Rev. Donald McEntire, pastor of the Brown Hill United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
