Her father worked in construction and the family moved around wherever his work was needed. They settled in La Puente, California and Carol attended school in the San Fernando Valley.
She became a young mom and was a full-time Mom and homemaker for 60 years. She loved her family, raising her kids and later helping to raise her grandchildren was her great love and joy.
She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, doing puzzles, crossword puzzles, and especially playing Yahtzee. She was well loved and will be greatly missed.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Evert Queen in 1995; and by three children, Kevin Stephenson, Carla Ashcraft, and Donald Craig Stephenson.
She is survived by five children: Terry Henry of Sierra Madre, California, Tony Stephenson (Chris Bullard) of Delhi, Dion Stephenson of Delhi, Gaylen (Sandra) Stephenson of Delhi, and Kelly (Bethany) Queen of Delhi; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park on Friday, May 24th at 10 am.
