WILSON, CHARLES WILLIAM,, "C.W.," 82, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 23, 2004, at Kindred Hospital. He was a native of Upton, KY, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the old Aldersgate United Methodist Church and Custer Masonic Lodge. He was a retired car man for the old L&N Railroad and a former night supervisor for Porcelain Metals Corp. in Louisville for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Milton and Jesse Forrester Wilson of Upton. Survivors include his wife, the former Jeannette Faye Carman; a daughter, Lisa M. VanHaverbeke of Moore, SC; five sons, Gary W. Wilson of Sellersburg, IN, Danny C. Wilson of Corbin, KY, Richard L. Wilson of Bowling Green, KY, Kevin S. Wilson of Louisville and Jeff N. Wilson of Evansville, IN; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grand-children. His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Custer Methodist Church Cemetery in Custer, KY. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday and after noon Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Association.
