Isaac was the son of Charles and Catharine Jameson Perrin. He married Louisa Anne Carney on January 29, 1839 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He was a doctor and farmer who came to Texas in 1845, settling in Lamar County. After Louisa's death, Isaac married Martha Birdsong on April 19, 1869 in Hunt County, Texas. Isaac and Louisa are buried with 4 of their 7 sons.
