Funeral services for Mrs.
Mary (Mae) J. Cavalli, who
died Monday night at Whitcomb
Convalescent Hospital in Menio
Park after a long illness, will be
at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Red-
wood Chapel in Redwood City.
Mrs. Cavalli, 83, was a native
and lifelong resident of La Hon-
da, residing most recently at 11
Enrtrada Way.
She and her late husband
Frank, who died in 1965, had
owned and operated Cavalli's
General Store in La Honda from
1904 until 1918. Later they
owned and operated Cavalli;s
Inn in La Honda.
Mrs. Cavalli was a charter
member of Pescadero Chapter
of the Native Daughters of Cali-
fornia and a member of the La
Honda Canyon Improvement
Association, La Honda Fire Bri-
gade and the Cuesta La Honda
Guild.
Survivors include a son, Mil-
ton of San Mateo, a sister, Mrs.
Lillian Woodfams of La Honda;
three brothers, Gus Zanoni,
Louie Zanoni, and Armond Zan-
oni, all of La Honda; and one
grandchild.
Interment will be at Alta
Mesa Memorial Park in Palo
Alto.
Rosary will be recited at 8 to-
night at Redwood Chapel.
