Mr. Bell died at 4:30 p.m. Monday at East Prairie Nursing Center.
A native of Mississippi County, Mr. Bell was a retired Assembly of God minister and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Charleston.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Maggie Earlene Britt Bell; one son, Richard Bell of East Prairie; one daughter, Nancy Sue Poe of Boaz, Ky.; one brother, Paul Bell of La Center, Ky.; two sisters, Irene Allen of East Prairie and Alma Doris Archie of Hickman, Ky.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. His parents were Manuel and Octavia Grider Bell.
