Clayton Evans Jett, age 77, of Columbia, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Clayton was born to Vernie and Thelma Clift Jett in Marshall County on September 1, 1935. He later became a self-employed business owner. He was the owner and manager of Jett Painting Service and Jett Moving Service, also from where he retired. Mr. Jett was a very successful hard worker. ‘Happy go lucky' was a very good term associated with him. He loved his dogs.
Burial in Polk Memorial Gardens.
