Paul Durbin Jr. 84 of Richmond died May 20, 2013 at Reid Hospital after a 3 year illness. He was born March 9, 1929 in Cambridge City to Paul and Ruth Dearing Durbin Sr. and lived in Wayne County most of his life.

Paul retired from the United States Postal service after working 30 years. He was an Air Force veteran serving as a Sergeant in Germany. He was a member of the Jacksonburg Christian Church. He was a 50 year member of Williamsburg Lodge F&AM, and a member of Hagerstown American Legion Post #333. He enjoyed fishing and golf.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years Janice, one daughter Lori Ann (Kelly) Ward of Hagerstown, two step children Jana Major of Centerville and David (Linda) Major of Novi, Michigan, seven grandchildren Luke (Angi) Durbin of Richmond, Josh (Monica) Ward of Richmond, Joseph (Allyson) Ward of Hagerstown, Brandy (Doug) Cole of New Castle, Stacey Harsh, Aliyah, and Desiree Durbin of Richmond, three step grandchildren Ryan (Becky) Major, Emily (Derrick) Land, and Kyle (Megan) Major of Charlotte, North Carolina eleven great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law David Bertsch of Cambridge City.

He is preceded in death by two sons Gary and Robert, his parents, and one sister Alta Bertsch.

Paul's family would like to thank his caregivers Jan Dietrich and Elaine Toney.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. May 24, 2013 at Jacksonburg Christian Church with Rev Stan Eastman and Rev. Paul Mingus officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonburg Cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home,
