Ruth was the daughter of Raymond and Maude (Tindall) Wainscott. She was born the fifth of nine children. Born in Kentucky, she later married and moved to Idaho with her husband.

Ruth married Cecil Becker and they had three children. They made their home in Idaho and raised their children there. After Cecil's death Ruth married Earl "Bud" Dodge.

She was loved and is missed dearly by her family.Ruth Virginia Becker-Dodge, 77, of Mountain Home, passed away at her home on March 3, 2011.

Per her request, no services will be held. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Ruth was born on Nov. 27, 1933, in Cropper, Kentucky, the daughter of Raymond and Maude (Tindall) Wainscott.

She married Cecil Becker in 1953. He died of cancer in 1993. Ruth later married Bud Dodge. He died of cancer in 2003.

Ruth loved to cook, especially for family and friends. She also cooked at various restaurants in Mountain Home. She also loved the outdoors.

Ruth was a devoted wife, loving mother and she cherished her friendships. Ruth will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her sons: Raymond (Susan) Becker, of Mountain Home, and Cecil (Ginger) Becker, Jr., of Grand Junction, CO; her daughter, JoAnn (Paul) Jones, of Blackfoot; brothers: Raymond Wainscott, Jr, and Donald Lee Wainscott, both of KY; sisters: Emma VanMeter-Lipman and Anna Kistner, both of KY, and Lula Rogers, of IL; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; one brother; two sisters; and one grandchild.
