Daughter of Max Jacob Fineman and Elsie Mae Conner. She graduated Milford High School, Milford, DE. In the late fifties she moved to Miami Beach and married Charles Verner Mossberg, later moving to Miami, and in the mid-1970's to North Miami Beach. In the early 1990's, they moved to Hollywood, Florida. She married Edward Pierce after 1996. Sh was a devoted housewife and mother. She knew periods of crisis and hardship and always approached challenges with optimism and perseverance. When her health declined in mid-2004, she approached treatment bravely and courageously, and survived a year of aggressive chemotherapy until she grew too tired. She was survived by her husband Edward Pierce, ex-husband Charles Verner Mossberg, their children Andrew Eric Mossberg and Anita Louise Strickland, grandchildren Taiga Nobu Douglas Verner Van Dijk Mossberg, Devyn Del Valle, and Taylor Hess, and her husband's children James Pierce, Annette Casey, and grandchildren Christian Pierce, and Michael, Troy and Kyle Casey. She was also survived by her sister Lois Hawkins and three nieces Sandra Spangler, Cynthia Solarino, and Linda Chi.
