Aunt Ike was my moms favorite Aunt. She was like a second mother to her growing up and Uncle Claire was always there as well. Aunt Ike married Clair Amo Pfeifer on 1 Feb 1943. The had three children together Merle, Richard and Lynda. They lived in Kent Washington for several years after leaving there long time home on Mason Lake, Washington. Aunt Ike operated a beauty shop out of their home in Mason Lake, this is likely where Mom got the idea to become a beautician.
