Clarence D. Puckhaber, 70, died Monday at the Anderson Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home. Burial was in New Silver Brook Cemetery.

He was born in Charleston on Nov. 9, 1897, a son of the late Herman H. and Amanda Linenthal (sic) Puckhaber. He was a quarterman at the Navy Yard in Charleston. After retirement, he moved to Anderson in 1953. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters, No. 470, of Charleston, and the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Mary Gray Puckhaber of Anderson.
