Age 95. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband Emory, her parents, her sister Erna Good, and her brother George Good and his wife, Jean Good. She is survived by two stepsons, Richard and Hugh Hunt and their wives, their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Edna Louise Hunt age 95 of Blair died May 14, 2013 at the Carter House in Blair, Nebraska. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Friday at the Blair Cemetery. Edna will be buried next to her husband, Emory C. Hunt, Jr.

Edna Louise Good was born on August 19, 1917 in Blair to Menno and Sophia (Carlson) Good. She was a 1935 graduate of Blair High School graduating valedictorian of her class. She worked at Blair Telephone Company for 7 years following her graduation. She lived in Blair until her marriage on May 16, 1946 to Emory C. Hunt, Jr., in Fremont, Nebraska. They were married 48 years at the time of his death.

When Emory purchased the Bassett-Springview Telephone Company in 1946 they moved to Bassett, NE where he managed the company, while Edna ran the switchboard and handled the bookkeeping. In 1949, they moved to Grant, NE, where he became the Western District Manager of the Central Nebraska Telephone Company. In 1951, they returned to Blair where Emory became the Vice President of Hunt Telephone Properties and then President in 1968. They lived in Blair until Mr. Hunt's death in 1994 and Mrs. Hunt's death in 2013. Emory and Edna were fond of their many Toy Manchester Terrier dogs. They spent many summers at their cabin in Canada at the Lake of the Woods, and winters in Florida.
