GILLESPIE - Dorothy May "Dot" Gray, 61, of Gillespie died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Carlinville Area Hospital.
She was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Woodburn, the daughter of Lester and Alice Bley Partridge Enke. She married David Gray in 1961 in Alton; he preceded her in death. A daughter, Starlet Brooks, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gray was a homemaker.
Survivors: four sons, David Gray of Bunker Hill, Dennis Gray of Gillespie, William (wife, Lisa) Gray of Cottage Hills and Bob (wife, Jessica) Bridges of Livingston; two daughters, Deanna (husband, Bruce) Custer of Shipman and Helen Hayes (husband, Todd McGuire) of Gillespie; 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Steven Enke of Bunker Hill, Lonnie Partridge of East Alton and Brian Partridge of Alton; and two sisters, Betsy Elberg and Cindy Entrican, both of Shipman.
