"Bob"
Age 93, late of Lockport, Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will Co. with his loving family at his side. Born in Lockport, was a life long resident.
Retired from Union Oil in 1979 after 39 years of service. Bob was a member of St Dennis Church, Seniors Club and Men's Club.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha "Madie" (Sharp) in 1997; his parents, Arthur and Ida (Sievert); and a brother, Howard.
Survived by his loving and devoted children, Robert "Bob" (Marilyn) of Elmhurst, Diane Mason, SP Sisters of Providence of Orland Park; two grandchildren, Paul (Dana) of Wheaton and Kathy (Steven) Kuhn of Lockport; five great-grandchildren, Taylor and Michael Mason and Beth Mason and Kyle Kuhn. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:30 am from the O'Neil Funeral Home, 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport to St. Dennis Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont. Visitation Wednesday 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
