Bryant, Velma Fern (Willis), 93, retired secretary to the dean of women at Washburn University, died Tuesday, July 28, 1998. Service 2 p.m. Saturday, Trinity Episcopal Church, El Dorado.

Survivors: son, Robert Willis of Fayetteville, N.C.; daughter, Wilma Don McGinnis of Towanda; stepdaughters, Betty Simmons of Tullahoma, Tenn., June Rust of Parsons; sisters, Helen Richardson of Hemet, Calif.; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with D.S.P.E.O. for Cody College and Other Educational Projects. Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
