Daughter of Lucinda M. "Selia" (nee Blassingame) and Isom Christian. Wife of Thomas Joseph Tucker.

Mother to:
Coy Tucker (dates unknown, died as infant)
Hugh Tucker (dates unknown, died as infant)
Minnie Mae Tucker (Salyers) 1881 – 1970
Ollie Lou Tucker (Adams) 1885 – 1932
Leslie Luther Tucker 1886 – 1944
Effie Alena Tucker (Massey) 1887 – 1976
Lillian Mae Tucker (Ervin) 1889 – 1981
Maggie Victoria Tucker (Logan) 1891 – 1984
Zula Belle Tucker (Logan) 1895 – 1945
George Washington "Buster" Tucker 1900 – 1968
Charles Sylvester "Bill" Tucker 1902 – 1983

It was common for the Tuckers to have nicknames.

There is no known headstone, her grave was marked by a piece of sandstone. My Godfather "Hawk" was grandson to Lucinda, and knew where she was buried, but Hawk has since passed. I believe Lucinda to be buried in Sulphur Cemetery and marked with a piece of sandstone next to her husband but can not prove it so I chose to memorialize her until better records are revealed.

Some records indicate her name to be Lu Sindy and Cindy.

Lucinda was my Great-greatgrandmother. JDH
