Funeral Thursday

WOOD RIVER, Nov. 7. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Abbie Meacham, wife of James W. Meacham of Auburn, formerly of Roxana, who died Monday, will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p. m., in the First Methodist Church in Wood River, by the Rev. O. C. Smith, pastor. Burial will be in Brighton cemetery.

The body, accompanied by Mr. Meacham, and Paul Lahue of Huntington, Va., a foster son, arrived in Wood River Tuesday and is at the Marks & Weber funeral home where friends may call until noon Thursday when it will be taken to the church.

Mr. and Mrs. Meacham moved two years ago from Roxana to Auburn. Members of the Philathea class of the Baptist church here, formerly taught by Mrs. Meacham, will meet at the funeral home at 1 p. m., Thursday.
