Vasco Laub was the son of John Franklin Laub and Mary E. Pulsipher, and grandson of George Laub. He was born 18 Nov 1906 in Fielding, Box Elder county, Utah.

Vasco served as a Utah Highway Patrolman prior to and after World War 2. During the War he was assigned to multiple areas overseas and left the service with the rank of Lt. Col.

He and his wife Lea were married 6 Jun 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah and were the parents of 3 boys, with the last two being twins.

Later in life they retired to St. George and devoted their remaining years to LDS temple work.

Vasco passed away on Monday 22 Dec 1997 and was buried in the St George City Cemetery on 27 Dec 1997.
