Elizabeth was the daughter of Casper and Margaret (Abel) Fett, she married John Martin Billman Nov. 12, 1868 in West Point, Lee Co., Iowa.

MRS. BILLMAN IS CLAIMED BY DEATH LIVED IN THIS VICINITY ALL HER LIFE DEATH IS MOURNED BY HUNDREDS FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY.
Mrs. Elizabeth Billman, one of the oldest and most highly respected members of this community, passed away at her home, 1707 Front street, at 3 a.m. Monday, aged 69 years, 5 months and 26 days.
Deceased was born in Lee County, Iowa and has been a resident of this community all of her life, where she is known and loved by hundreds or friends. She has been a faithful and devout member of the Presbyterian church of West Point, Lee Co., Iowa for fifty years. Mrs. Billman, with her husband, moved to this city in September of this year, 1918. On November 12th the couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Billman is survived by her husband, four sons, George A. Billman of West Point, Iowa; W.C. Billman of Tokio, Alberta, Canada; A.B. Billman and R.A. Billman of this city, Fort Madison and one daughter, Mrs. Matilda Maxwell of Denmark, four brothers, David Fett, Jake Fett and Henry Fett of Donnellson, Lee Co., Iowa and John Fett of West Point, Lee Co., Iowa; and by eleven grandchildren. One son died in infancy, while four brothers and one sister preceded Mrs. Billman to the grave.
