Sandra Faye Davis Medley, age 67 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Chapel with Pastor Phillip Barnett officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 17, 2013 from 11 AM until service time.
A native Tullahoma, TN., she was the daughter of the late, James Wesley and Lois Cunningham Davis. She worked as a housekeeper at the Life Care Center and Glen Oaks Nursing Home. She loved to quilt and cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had many friends and "always saw the good in everyone".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawton James Medley; one son, Anthony "Tony" Medley and one sister, Karen Gipson.
She is survived by one son, Ernest "Ernie" Medley of Tullahoma; three brothers, Buster Davis and his wife, Gay of Tullahoma, Gary Davis and his wife, Melody of Tullahoma and Alan Davis and his wife, Paulette of Hillsboro; four sisters, Joyce Vassar and her husband, Fred of Tullahoma, Linda Moulder and her husband, Avery of Tullahoma, Brenda Petty and her husband, Clyde Sr. of Tullahoma and Darlene Ray and her husband, David of Tullahoma; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
