WEST POINT-- Alfred W. Andrews, 80, died March 31, 1998, at Clay County Medical Center.

Services are Thursday at 10 a.m., in the Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leonard Poppe officiating. Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Andrews, the son of the late John and Lena Saliht Palmer, was a native of the Tibbee Community of Clay County. He was a member of Our Savior Luthern Church of Columbus and a retired radio and television repairman and a beekeeper.

Survivors include his wife: Evelyn Johann Andrews of West Point; sons, James Andrews of Garland, Texas, and David Andrews of West Point; daughters, Linda Andrews of Memphis, Tenn., and Gail Andrews of Pearl; sister Dorothy P. Franks of Tampa, Fla.; and two grandsons.

Pallbears are Jimmy Miskelly, Harold Nyholm, Bud Holtcamp, J.C. Craig, Ernie White and Felix Johnson.
