A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Rev. Karl Rydholm officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Winnebago.
Wayne was born September 28, 1923, at Winnebago, MN, the son of Clarence and Maryette (Holloway) Eastvold. He married Edith L. Keyser on February 8th, 1948 in Winnebago. He worked for Spencer-Armstrong Funeral Home and started working for the Faribault County Highway Department where he remained for 39 years until his retirement. Together they enjoyed spending time with family, dancing and traveling in their motor-home, and after retirement they spent many winters in the warmer southern states. They were members of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Winnebago. Wayne and Edith lived most of their lives in Winnebago, and moved to Blue Earth in 2002.
He is survived by his sister Carrie Eastvold of Buffalo Center, IA, his brother Carlton (Thelma) Eastvold of Winnebago, his daughter, Paulette (Thomas) Wilhelmi of Minnesota Lake, his daughter, Maryetta (Thomas) Hendricks of Minnetonka, his son, Mark Eastvold of Winnebago, his daughter, Anne (Kevin) Skaare of Blue Earth, his brother in law, Dale (Wilma) Keyser of Aurora, CO, 10 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Maryette, his wife Edith, sisters Ida (Ed) Larson and June (Orville) Olson, brothers Mitchell and Kenneth, son in law Gary (Paulette) Vance, grandson Michael Vance, great granddaughter Lillian Ludwig.
