Henry B. Smallwood, 77, of 206 W. Burley St., Valier, died in the Skilled Care Unit in Franklin County Hospital in Benton at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 1976.

He was born Oct. 12, 1898 in Kentucky. He was married to Elizabeth Spivey, who survives. Mr. Smallwood was a retired employe of the Shatter Proof Glass Corp. in Detroit, Mich. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Sesser.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ in Sesser. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Friends may call at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
