Funeral services were Held Monday afternoon at the Curlew Baptist Church for Mrs. Clyde V. McCreery, 73, who died Wednesday evening, March 27, at the Palo Alto County Hospital.
The Rev. LaVarn Bartell officiated., Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Dan and Dick Drown, Paul Quam and Rodney Wetzig and the choir. They were accompanied on the piano by Mary Jane Matthiesen.
Pallbearers were Stanley Quam, Harry M a t t h i e s e n , Elaine Drown, Adrian Barber, Amos Brallier and Russell Bohn.
Mrs. McCreery was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dudley Smith at Markesan, Wis., Oct. 18, 1889. She was married June 28, 1911, to Clyde V. McCreery in Winnebago, Minn. Three daughters were born to this union, Mrs. Geneva Sutton of Montana, Mrs. Shirley Ennarson of Calgary, Alberta, and Mrs. Ileen Splinter of Richfield, Minn. One son died
in infancy.
Mr. and Mrs. McCreery moved to this community about three years ago from Kelliher, Minn.
Survivors besides the three daughters include her mother, Mrs. E. D. Smith, 92, of Glen Lake, Minn.; one brother in California; and 14 grandchildren
