Antonio G. Amezquita, age 68, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in Pleasanton, Texas.
Mr. Amezquita is survived by his wife, Hilda Alamo Amezquita of Pleasanton, son, Jose Antonio Amezquita and wife Maria Lourdes of Port Isabel; daughter, Hilda Amezquita and significant other, Angel Escalante of Pleasanton; sons, Roberto Amezquita of Houston, Rene Amezquita and wife Angelica of Poteet, Albert Amezquita and wife Savanna of San Antonio and Joe Amezquita of Pleasanton; brother, Angel Amezquita of Tlacuitapan Jalisco, Mexico., as well as his grandchildren, Martin Hernandez, Matthew Hernandez, Adam "A.J." Jimenez, Jr., Raquel Amezquita, Julie Ann Amezquita, Jose Antonio Amezquita, Jr., Mia Garcia, Rubi Amezquita, Gabriel Amezquita, Rene Eli Amezquita, Amber Jo Amezquita and Lily Mae Amezquita.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cirilo Amezquita and Guadalupe (Garcia) Amezquita, brothers, Javier Amezquita, Roberto Amezquita, Lupe Amezquita, Cirilo Amezquita, Gabriel Amezquita and Juvenal Amezquita, sister, Carmen Amezquita.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, Texas from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2013 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet, Texas at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2013. Interment will be at St. Andrew #2, in Pleasanton, Texas.
