Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late William and Ida Coker Parrot. She was employed by Avon-Dale Manufacturing Co. of Olanta and attended the Lake City Assembly of God.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Myra P. Carter of Scranton; sisters, Mrs. Lydia Rogers and Mrs. Eliza Lee of Scranton and Mrs. Ozela Wicker of Prosperity; a brother, Walter Parrot of Scranton; and grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Brockington Funeral Home in Lake City with burial in Matthews Cemetery near Lake City.
