He was a retired employee of International Harvester Co.; was a veteran of World War II; and was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; American Legion Post 1001; Capital Area Sports Hall of Fame; the Progress Fire Company Home Association; and the Central Pennsylvania Ash Tray Association.
Surviving are his wife, Clara M. Lefko; a son, John M. of Shrewsbury; a sister, Florence Kulina of Montoursville; a niece; and a nephew.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in his church by the Rev. Joseph F. Gotwalt. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp.
